<p style="text-align: left;">Crisis Management Centers are control centers, that get engaged in times of crisis or extraordinary situations.</p>
<p>The main task of a crisis control center is to keep decision makers well informed, so that decisions can be made based on data that is most accurately describing the current situation.<br />
Information is usually gathered from various sensory sources, such as security systems (CCTV, Access, etc.), status trackers, environmental stations (weather, earthquake, etc.), civil defense agencies like the police and the fire brigades and many more.<br />
Setting up such control centers includes many activities, most importantly workable processes and procedures need to be in place so that all staff working in the center know exactly what to do and when to do it. Tracking measures taken is also often a key requirement.</p>

<p>The selling proposition is very easy as especially China sells rather cheap. For most of the European countries we work in, this is somewhat different.</p>
<p>So what does it take? How come that big Brands like SAP, Mercedes or Porsche seem to sell seamlessly even though they are a lot more expensive than their competitors and why on the other hand do many &#8220;good solutions&#8221; often not sell for what they are worth.</p>
<p>One thing is certainly the perception of the introduced solution. If you are not a major brand, with lots of marketing dollars and still want to increase you chances in new markets this article is for you&#8230;</p>
<p><span id="more-37"></span>In the past 15 years, I saw many companies trying to &#8220;break into&#8221; the local booming markets in South East Asia. Some succeeded, many yet had to withdraw again after a while. To my experience these had a couple things in common:</p>
<p>The marketing material was often too few. Especially in the technology sector, those explorers often thought they would  not really need that type of documentation. This includes most notably the web-page, which was often not even available in proper English. Not to mention modern stuff, like facebook, linkedIn and so forth. Asia likes stuff to be in colours and lively, learn from  the &#8220;big ones&#8221; in your field and you will be perceived all right.</p>
<p>Secondly, and that is especially true for Europe based businesses; many tended to completely underestimate the local talent and local businesses.Guys, South East Asia is right there and especially if you come unprepared somewhat will pick up what you are saying and doing and will leverage your lack of preparation.</p>
<p>Poorly priced &#8211; many times the business case just does not fit the  local  cost structures and ROI cycles are just too long. A quick-tip here, the Big-Mac index might be helpful here to do a quick reality check on your pricing.</p>
<p>Many Asian Businesses underestimate the requirements for technical documentation and certification requirements of products.</p>
<p>I often think, spending that little extra for a consultant pays back big way, when considering the cost of failure caused by ignorance.</p>
